Our story
A window into a living culture.
Chinese Culture Atlas is an independent learning project for curious people around the world. We make thoughtful introductions to festivals, arts, language, literature and everyday practices.
What we believe
Culture is not one fixed narrative. Practices vary across regions, communities, families and generations. A good introduction should help readers see that variety rather than reduce it to stereotypes.
We distinguish between historical evidence, traditional stories and modern customs; we include reading links to help you go deeper. This website is educational, not an official cultural institution.
How to begin
Try our beginner lessons, browse the culture library, or read about a festival.
Editorial note. The site is in its first development phase. Further independent subject review and a public feedback contact channel are planned before full launch.
